NWA’s questionable roadwork

It would seem to me that the National Works Agency (NWA) has lost the ability to construct roads which can last.
Just two years ago, Manning’s Hill Road, in the vicinity of Sullivan Avenue, was closed for over four months to facilitate the construction of a concrete box culvert, concrete U-drains, retaining walls, and gully inverts to prevent the constant erosion of the road surface from the water running across the road.
Well, after the recent rains, the road surface — if I may borrow from the words of the NWA’s Stephen Shaw when he addresses issues in the media — “has been scoured badly” and massive craters are developing, leading to a significant slowing of the traffic along that corridor.
