Phillips heads to Cuba for regional conference
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Leader of the Opposition and President of the People’s National Party (PNP) Dr Peter Phillips left the island this afternoon as head of the party’s delegation for a regional conference in Havana, Cuba.
Dr Phillips will also have a number of party to party meetings with the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC), the PNP said.
It did not disclose the other members of the delegation, which is to return to Jamaica next Wednesday.
