OK THEN: Inmate shows up at home of correctional officer after getting bail
Police in the Arouca area of Trinidad are investigating a bizarre report in which an inmate showed up at the home of a correctional officer shortly after taking up his bail.
The man reportedly made threats against the occupants of the home before leaving. The incident occurred last Tuesday. The man was originally charged with firearm and ammunition possession before he was offered bail.
While in lockup, the inmate was involved in a fight at the Golden Grove Prison in Arouca on October 15, with other inmates. The fight was broken up by the prison officer, during which an inmate was injured while being detained.
The inmate later received bail, and reportedly made his way to the home. The matter was reported to the police.
