G Maffiah banks on new projects
Recording artiste G Maffiah has been making the best of the feedback he has received since the release of his official mixtape, We Dem Like.
The dancehall fraternity in the United Kingdom has made its name, with the likes of Stylo G breaking out as a chart-topper in 2019, and G Maffiah said it has set the tone for other UK-based artistes who are on the verge of breaking out. He is therefore using this momentum to push his latest single Lifestyle
Self-produced on his G Konnek Records imprint, the single was made available through Tune Core on all major digital media platforms.
“ Lifestyle made its way to all major radio stations in London, including Capital Extra, and I am thankful for the support my music is receiving from fans all over the world. I am planning to set foot in Jamaica for the new year to start putting together my EP and to do a few pop-up shows,” said G Maffiah.
Since releasing Lifestyle he has teamed up with Sonic Link Records on his single Dat A Nothing To We, which is set to be released before the end of the year.
A medley video will be shot in December for both singles and will première next year.
“I believe in always working toward what I want and my music personifies that belief as well. I use my music as a tool to help motivate the younger generation. There is nothing wrong with working hard and enjoying the fruits of your labour; every youth should get in the mindset to work hard and create the lifestyle they desire,” he said.
With new music on the way for the beginning of the new year, G Maffiah has already lined up his summer 2020 single Your Loving, which is produced by Jamie Radigan.
G Maffiah also harbours thoughts of becoming a producer, and to this end has put together his first rhythm compilation, titled Brainwave which is expected to drop in 2020.
