Walker Cup semi-finalists decided
Nine-time champions St George’s kept on course to win a schoolboy football title this season, as they defeated defending champions Hydel 2-0 in their Walker Cup quarterfinal clash at Stadium East on Friday.
Also
progressing to the semifinals are St Catherine, Camperdown and Excelsior.
St
Catherine defeated Charlie Smith 3-0 at Ashenheim Stadium, where Excelsior also
got the better of Jonathan Grant 4-2 on penalties after their match ended
regulation time 2-2.
In
the other match at Stadium East on Friday, Camperdown clobbered Mona 4-0.
The
semifinals will be played on Tuesday, with the final slated for Saturday,
Novermber 30.
