Homemade shotgun found in abandoned building in St James

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police yesterday seized one homemade shotgun during an operation in Coral Gardens in St James.

According to the constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, lawmen were in the area about 4:00 pm, when an abandoned building was searched and the firearm was seen among debris.

The police said no arrests were made in relation to the seizure and the investigation continues.
