Wayne Wonder brings huge catalogue to Appleton Estate Signature Series
With his
arsenal of hits, singer Wayne Wonder delivered the goods at last Thursday’s
staging of the Appleton Estate Signature Series.
Held at
Peppa Thyme on Constant Spring Road, the event attracted a large audience that
jammed to the singer’s catalogue of songs.
Top 90s
deejay Frisco Kid made a cameo appearance, and he had the crowd on a high when
he drew his chart-topper Little and Cute.
“The
vibe was awesome. It was a nice one, because from you have Wayne Wonder and
Frisco Kid deh pon the same stage, you can expect nutten but the best. The
energy, the vibe and the brotherly love,” Frisco Kid said in an interview
shortly after his performance.
Wayne Wonder
concurred with Frisco Kid.
“It was
a great vibe, and no haul and pull up ting. I came to sing for the crowd
because that’s what they know me for,” said Wayne.
With Keep
Them Coming, Joyride, Anything Goes, No Letting Go and
Bonafide Love flowing like fine wine, Wonder kept the musical charade going
for close to an hour.

Lindo Johnson, Marketing Manager at J Wray and Nephew Limited, manufacturers
and distributors of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, said the Appleton Estate
Signature Series highlights the best of what Jamaica has to offer.
“Since
2016, we have been doing this event, and it’s been really exciting how we reflect
the marriage of Appleton Estate Rum and reggae music. This has been the fourth
one so far for this year, and we have one more to go on December 19,” said
Lindo Johnson.
The Appleton
Estate Signature Series will pull the curtains down on December 19 at Sharkies
