West End Road in Negril reduced to single lane
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica—The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising the public to exercise extreme caution along the West End Road in Negril.
The NWA shared on social media that strong wave action and heavy rains have compromised a section of the roadway.
The agency said the embankment which forms the road in the vicinity of Sunshine Plaza has been undermined, which has reduced the road to single lane traffic.
