Weekly Round-up: Port Royal welcomes cruise ship… Four men killed in Trelawny crash… Call for swimming to be part of Champs
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Port Royal welcomed its first cruise ship ever on Monday, when the Marella Discovery 2 docked in the historic city. Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett reported that some 2,000 passengers were on board.
Four men from Portland died on Sunday after the car in which they were travelling slammed into the side of a bus on the north coast highway in Hague, Trelawny.
And in sports, a call was issued on Wednesday for swimming to become a part of the annual ISSA Boys and Girls Championships.
