Farmer killed in St Mary crash

ST MARY, Jamaica – A 58-year-old farmer died in a motor vehicle accident along the Iterboreale main road in Annotto Bay, St Mary on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as David Reider.

According to reports, about 5:10 pm, Reider was riding his bicycle along the said main road when he was hit by a taxi.

Reider received serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the Annotto Bay hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
