Swiss Beats, in an interview with , acknowledged Jamaica’s sound system clash culture as the biggest influence, so it’s only fitting two sons of the soil grace the online stage.Genius
Last week, two of rap’s most successful
acts, Ludacris and Nelly clashed on Verzuz; and R&B songbird Erykah Badu
and Jill Scott took part the week prior.
A positive by-product for participating
Verzuz clashers is the exponential rise in music streams and digital album
sales, as witnessed by Jill Scott and Erykah Badu following their bout.
It’ll be anyone’s guess who will win on Saturday, but we’re taking wagers now, BUZZ fam!
Who are you rooting for to take the
Dancehall Verzuz?
