March 12 declared ‘Macka Diamond Day’ in Cincinnati
Fans of dancehall artiste Macka Diamond in Cincinnati, Ohio now have an entire day to celebrate her after the city’s mayor declared March 12 ‘Macka Diamond Day’.
Macka Diamond shared the exciting news to her more than 150,00 followers on Instagram.
“I’m so excited to share this news with you,” she said while adding that she also holds the key to the city.

The proclamation was made, and the certification given to Macka Diamond, after a live show.
Proclamations in Cincinnati can be requested by citizens and are subject to the approval of mayor John Cranley for the purposes of “public awareness, charitable fundraising, and arts and cultural celebrations.”
