St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation closes after COVID-19 case

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica— Mayor of Black River, Derrick Sangster, has confirmed that the offices of the St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation in Black River closed today after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Sangster said the offices will “partially” reopen tomorrow following “sanitisation”.

“The test came back positive yesterday afternoon and as a precaution we decided to close for the day, ” Sangster said.
