Kingston man arrested after police find gun in basket

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have arrested a man after a firearm was reportedly found inside his home yesterday.

According to the police, one Jennings 9mm pistol was taken from a basket inside a house on Fiddies Road in Kingston 13 during operation about 7:30 am.

The house occupant, whose identity has not been released, was arrested and taken into custody pending charges.
