MAGGI Experience Programme starts in MoBay with Tanya Stephens
MONTEGO BAY, St James – Peppa’s Cool Spot was electrified with a performance by reggae artiste Tanya Stephens recently when Nestlé MAGGI made its first of 20 stops in Montego Bay for the MAGGI Experience Programme.
“Many businesses have had a hard time transitioning during the [novel] coronavirus pandemic. The ones most hit include those from the service industry mainly restaurants and entertainment. For you to have survived during that time required you to pivot, show resilience, and, of course, offer a superb product,” said Ockino Petrie, regional marketing manager for MAGGI.
He added: “This year, we want to partner with 20 medium to small restaurants through our MAGGI Experience Programme, where we look to offer to restaurateurs and owners aid in running their businesses and enhancing their menus, with the aid of the continued use of their secret ingredient, MAGGI.”
Stephens, backed by the Hard Drive Band, left patrons wanting more after her hour-long set.
She started her performance with These Streets and then quickly followed up with What a Day. With the mood now set, and patrons now fired up, it was clear that Stephens was there to produce a good performance.
Stephens took her time to go through her huge catalogue of hits in her performance, which included songs such as Joyride, Can’t Breathe, Rolling, Good Ride, Boom Wuk along with a few others before closing out with It’s a Pity.
With each song securing huge cheers and singalongs, she paused at regular intervals to talk to her fans about the songs she had done and the messages that were intended in each.
Following her set, the Hard Drive band continued to take the audience through several hits for the rest of the evening as the curtains closed on the first MAGGI Experience event.
