Many thanks to wonderful people in Ochi
Dear Editor,
I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience we had with the people in Ocho Rios.
We were walking from our rented condo to do our grocery shopping and it started to pour rain. When we arrived, nobody would allow us to enter the grocery store because we were dripping wet.
One employee came out with paper towels to help dry me off so I could get in the store. Still no access was granted. She went out of her way and decided to put her sweater around my hips so I would look more decent and not as wet.
Outside, my partner was waiting and was told that no one would bring us back in a cab because we were soaking wet.
Again, we met a good Samaritan — a taxi driver who was willing to give us a lift to our condo.
Many thanks to these wonderful people!
