Gun, ammo seized in Maverley operation

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Members of the Joint Anti-Gang Taskforce seized a Sig-Sauer pistol, six magazines and 48 rounds of ammunition during an operation in Maverley, St Andrew on Saturday.

Reports are that about 4:00 pm, members of the security forces carried out a search of an abandoned building and the weapon was found.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Investigations continue.
