Icons, Korea agency donate health products to schools
St Mary charity Icons of Annotto Bay recently handed out the final batch of products that it obtained through sponsorship from the Korean Embassy in Kingston, and the Korean International Cooperation Agency Alumni, Jamaica Chapter, to support schools and other institutions in their fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The embassy and the alumni combined efforts in coming up with the sponsorship of US$4,000 (around $600,000) worth of health-care items to ease the burden on schools in St Mary.
Icons was represented at the presentations by the organisation’s president Wyatt “Spur” Williams, and secretary, Odette Smith Williams.
