Gas prices down $0.25, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, June 16, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $215.64 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $220.66 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $223.01 per litre after an increase of $4.50, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $225.75 per litre due to an increase of $4.50.
Kerosene also increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $197.30 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.75 per litre down by $2.19 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $84.43 per litre after a decrease of $1.04.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
