Man killed in St Elizabeth identified

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Police have identified a man who succumbed to gunshot wounds following a shooting incident in Vineyard District in St Elizabeth on Tuesday night.

He has been identified as Orlando Suckra.

Vineyard is located east of Black River.

A police report said about 9:15 pm residents heard loud explosions. Shortly after Suckra was seen at the entrance to the community suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital by a medical team in an ambulance and later died while undergoing treatment.

The St Elizabeth police are probing the incident.
