#WorldChamps: Jamaica’s women take silver in 4x400m final
The Jamaican quartet of Candice McLeod, Janieve Russell, Stephanie-Ann McPherson, and Charokee Young stormed to a season’s best time of 3.30.74 seconds to better the bronze medal won at the Tokyo Olympics last year.
The event was won by the United States in a world leading time of 3:17.79 seconds, while Great Britain finished third in a season’s best time of 3:22.64 seconds.
Jamaica finished third on the medal table with 10 medals – two gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze.
