Director changes
Christopher Zacca has resigned as chairman of Sagicor Real Estate X Fund Limited’s board while Vinay Walia has been appointed chairman effective August 1. Zacca will remain on the board as a director. Retired chief executive officer of Community & Workers of Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union Limited Carlton Barclay was appointed a director on August 1.
Rosemary E Thwaites has resigned as a director of ISP Finance Services Limited effective July 25. Thwaites was a member of the audit and remuneration committees.
Market sales and events
A director of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited (JBG) purchased 88,388 units for a consideration of $2.55 million on July 18 while a senior manager purchased 326,236 units for a consideration of $9.62 million on July 19. A JBG director sold 1,305,649 shares on July 26 at $29 for a consideration of $37.86 million. Between July 22 to 26, a senior manager of Supreme Ventures Limited purchased 37,121 shares, a connected party sold 100,000 shares, while a related party purchased 458,685 shares for a consideration of $13.21 million.
Margaritaville (Turks) Limited (MTL), Express Catering Limited (ECL), and Knutsford Express Limited (KEX)’s May 2022 audited financial statements have all been delayed by challenges associated with the novel coronavirus. MTL and ECL expect to submit their audited financials by September 9, while KEX expects to submit by September 13. KEX expects to file its annual report by November 11.
Future Energy Source Company Limited expects to submit its annual report by August 13 while Medical Disposables and Supplies Limited and Carreras Limited expect to submit annual reports by September 13. Wigton Windfarm Limited expects to submit its annual report by September 14.
Caribbean Cream Limited will consider a dividend payment at its board meeting tomorrow.
Stanley Motta Limited and Radio Jamaica Limited will consider dividend payments at their respective board meetings on August 8. Carreras Limited will consider a dividend payment on August 9.
