Increased rainfall expected up to mid-week
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaicans are being advised to brace for showers across the island for at least the next three days.
The Meteorological Service said a trough across Jamaica is expected to bring increased shower and thunderstorm activity across most parishes up to the middle of this week.
It is expected to become cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms across sections of most of the island on Sunday afternoon.
A small craft warning is now in effect for inshore and offshore areas of the north and south coast due to strong winds and rough seas in the vicinity of thunderstorms, the met office said.
