Gas prices $0.25, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, October 13, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $193.66 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $197.64 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $225.01 per litre after an increase of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $231.99 per litre also up by $4.50.
Kerosene increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $222.44 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $61.76 per litre up by $1.33 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $69.89 per litre after an increase of $1.87.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
