Executive and Director Changes
Maia Wilson has been appointed to the role of vice-president, senior legal counsel and corporate secretary for Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) effective October 1, 2022. SGJ has also appointed Gabrielle O’Connor to the role of VP, finance and chief financial officer effective October 10, 2022.
Tianka Scott-Morrison has been appointed the new education director of EduFocal Limited effective October 3. Chelsea Taylor has resigned as the operations director effective October 5.
Shiraz Hamid has been appointed the branch manager of South Park Branch for JMMB Bank (T&T) Limited effective October 1 following the departure of Andrea Abdullah.
Damion Brown has resigned as JMMB Group Limited’s chief investment officer, effective November 25, to pursue other opportunities.
Carlington Montgomery has resigned as chief financial officer (CFO) and company secretary of Berger Paints Jamaica effective September 30. This comes after he was appointed CFO on December 28, 2021 and company secretary on January 1.

An executive of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited (SJ) sold 259,562 shares at $50.50 for a consideration of $13.10 million while another executive sold 2,000 shares at $50.50 on October 10. A connected party and two executives of SJ sold 104,445 shares for a consideration of $5.25 million between October 13 to 14. A connected party of Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited purchased 6,000 shares on October 14. A connected party of Supreme Ventures Limited sold 69,633 shares for a consideration of $1.88 million on October 19. A connected party of Caribbean Producers (Jamaica) Limited sold 871,253 shares for a consideration of $10.82 million on October 14.
Consolidated Bakeries Jamaica Limited has set November 9 as the new date for its annual general meeting.
Supreme Ventures Limited has declared a dividend of $0.1454 to be paid on December 15 to shareholders on record as of November 4. This payment totals $383.46 million.
Productive Business Solutions Limited will consider a dividend payment to ordinary shareholders on November 10.
