IT was an evening of celebration for the Sagicor Group Jamaica team as the financial conglomerate walked away with the top award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility at the American Chamber of Commerce Jamaica (AMCHAM Ja) Business and Civic Leadership Awards Gala on Tuesday, December 13 at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel.

The charitable arm of the group, Sagicor Foundation, also received the runnerup award for Excellence in Civic Leadership.

The AMCHAM Jamaica awards gala is being held after almost three years, with the last event being January 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sagicor Group Jamaica and Sagicor Foundation Jamaica won the top awards then for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility and Excellence in Civic Leadership, respectively.
