3 dead in western Jamaica after late New Year’s Eve crash
ST JAMES, Jamaica – At least three people are dead and four others in hospital after a motor vehicle collision at the border of St James and Trelawny on New Year’s Eve.
The police say they are still trying to identify the deceased.
Preliminary reports from the Trelawny police are that about 11:45 pm on Saturday, three vehicles crashed on the Wiltshire main road which led to the fatalities. Two individuals are said to have died at the scene while the other died at hospital.
The police continue their investigation.
