THE stellar line-up of DJs at the recent staging of Daybreak kept the crowd entertained at Sabina Park in Kingston on December 24.

With the musical stylings of Brush1 Chromatic, DJs Cyclone, Franco, Marc Chin, Laing D, Fyahmatic, and DJ Sinister, patrons were transported through current hits as well as hits from the past.

Not only was the music a pleaser for patrons, but also the variety of food which stimulated the appetites of many.

A patron, who identified herself as Maureen, was so caught up with the music that she couldn’t leave the dance floor.

“Daybreak is a party that I cannot miss. This is my fifth event and the music is always on point, the food is great and the vibes awesome,” she disclosed.

Her dancing partner, Alex, also gave the event the thumbs up.

“Wherever she goes, I go. She introduced me to this party and we are here with some of our friends from Linstead having a blast. Daybreak shot!!,” he said.

Event coordinator, well-known music producer and artiste manager Romaine “Luigi Society” Brown was pleased with the turnout and the overall execution of the event.

“I can’t say that one thing was the highlight of the party as different patrons I’m sure will have different picks. However, most would agree that the music was on point from start to finish, the decor, ambiance was amazing; our bar service was fluid and efficient and the food was delicious,” said Brown.

Daybreak, a breakfast and brunch event, has been held since 2015.

Brown explained why patrons coming back.

“Since its initial staging, Daybreak has always been one of high energy, fun and beautiful people. We have remained consistent in delivering premium decor, premium cuisines including an array of international and local breakfast and brunch offerings and top-class musical juggling to match with our usual high energy, fun and beautiful people. With all these factors, we have maintained a huge loyal patronage that only grows with each staging,” he said.

Brown also spoke about the impressive line-up of DJs.

“Daybreak is known for its diverse DJ line-up — a mixture of both local and international. By doing this, we guarantee satisfaction to our patronage of different cultures. This staging was no different with the likes of Tony X & Dj Sinistar of the Miami Dream Team, Laing D & Fyamatic, Franco Bloodline & Brush1 and Coppershot sound. As expected; patrons were treated to an onslaught of musical euphoria from top musical genres including dancehall, hip hop, soca, reggae and Afrobeat,” he said.

The next staging of Daybreak will be held on carnival Friday, April 14, 2023 at Sabina Park.
