Gas prices, diesel up $0.25
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 5, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $163.41 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $167.39 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $208.84 per litre after an increase of $0.25 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $216.77 per litre up by $0.25.
Kerosene increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $211.95 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.93 per litre up by $2.00 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $69.02 per litre after an increase of $2.36.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
