600 pounds of ganja found in market truck

PORTLAND, Jamaica – Approximately six hundred pounds of ganja was found in a truck with farm produce in Portland about 10:00pm on Saturday.

According to reports, the truck was stopped on a section of the Long Road main road and the occupants, including two children, were taken to the Manchioneal Police Station.

The truck is allegedly owned by someone from Kingston but was being driven by a person from a Kingston address.

Investigations are ongoing.
