Fisherman charged with shooting with intent

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A fisherman was arrested in connection with an incident on East Bay Drive on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Twenty-two-year-old, Paul Ronaldson, of Old Harbour in St Catherine is charged with shooting with intent and using a firearm to commit a schedule offence.

Reports from the Portmore police are that about 8:40 am, an argument developed with the complainant when it is alleged that Ronaldson opened gunfire at the complainant. The complainant managed to escape and made a report to the police.

On Saturday, the accused was handed over to the police and was charged on Thursday.
