Firearm, ammo found in St Catherine

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A firearm and six rounds of ammunition were seized during an operation along Sligoville main road on Tuesday.

Reports are that about 4:00 pm, lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched and one Taurus 9mm pistol with a magazine containing six 9mm rounds of ammunition was found.

No one was arrested in relation to this seizure.

Investigations are ongoing.
