Chef shot and killed in Pimento Walk, St Ann
ST ANN, Jamaica – A man was shot and killed by gunmen in Pimento Walk, St Ann on Friday morning.
He has been identified as 31-year-old chef Miguel Hyman, otherwise called ‘Shane’ of Pimento Walk.
Reports are that at about 12:12 am, residents heard explosions and summoned the police.
When the lawmen arrived, Hyman was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
A resident stated that she heard the sounds and texted her neighbour immediately.
“Me hear them and me text me fren same time and say ‘a gunshot dem deh?’ When me reach a work this morning me a hear say smaddy get shot fi true,” she said.
She said she is appalled by the incident.
“Ochi a get outta hand. A years now me no hear nobody get shot ina Pimento Walk, no man, this serious,” she expressed.
