Decision time
GREEN POND, St James — The semi-finals of the St James Football Association Sandals Resorts International Under-17 will be decided on Saturday when the final round of regular season games are played.
Six of the eight teams are still in contention for the four spots, but the top three teams — Irwin Academy, Athletes in Action (AIA), and St James High — are assured of being among the top four on the points table.
Fourth-placed Green Pond High on 10 points must win their game against Irwin Academy to secure their spot, with Granville United on nine points and dark horses Montego Bay Boys Club on seven points — all still in with a chance of grabbing the final spot.
Leaders Irwin Academy, who are on 15 points, will face fourth-placed Green Pond; second-placed Athletes In Action (AIA) on 14 points will face fifth-placed Granville United; and third-placed St James High will take on Montego Bay Boys Club.
