Gas prices down $2.40, $2.90, diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, May 4, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane gasoline decreased by $2.90 and will be sold for $169.59 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $166.08 per litre after a decrease of $2.40.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $174.12 per litre after a decrease of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $184.97 per litre down by $4.50.
Kerosene also decreased by $4.50 and will be sold for $185.17 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $63.40 per litre down by $2.90 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $70.68 per litre after a decrease of $4.50.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
