Twelfth Street seek back- to-back wins in Westmoreland FA league
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – Twelfth Street will be seeking back-to-back wins when they take on Straths FC in the Westmoreland Football Association/ Victor Lowe Major League in the first game of a double-header at Llandilo Sports Complex on Tuesday, starting at 4:00 pm.
Twelfth Street, who had beaten Shewsbury FC in their opening game, will be hoping to join Petersfield FC at the top of the tables with six points.
In the second game of the day, Stars of the West and Shewsbury FC will both seek to rebound from their opening game losses when they meet.
On Sunday, Petersfield FC made it two wins in a row when they beat Savanna-la- Mar United 4-1 in the second game at Llandilo after Belmont Uprising had beaten Grange Hill 2-1 in the first game.
Orane Kerr and Oshawn Neil both scored two goals each to lead Petersfield, while Odane Stevens had scored a consolation goal for Savanna-la- Mar United.
Belmount, who had lost their first game, rebounded to edge Grange Hill with goals from Javion Russell and Tashane Grey, while Tavian Lewis scored for the losers.
