Gas prices, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, August 17, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $188.71 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $184.20 per litre up.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $180.03 per litre after an increase of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $188.14 per litre up by $4.50.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $184.34 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $64.69 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $72.78 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
