St Ann teens charged after allegedly chopping man with machetes

ST ANN, Jamaica– Three teens have been charged after allegedly attacking a man with machetes at a grave digging in Riverhead district, St Ann on Thursday, January 18.

Charged with wounding with intent are 18-year-old Dwight Mullings; 18-year-old Damion Morris and 18-year-old Jamie Miller all of Moneague, St Ann.

Reports are that about 5:30 pm, a man was at a grave digging when he was attacked by the three teens with machetes. The man received chop wounds to the head that resulted in serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.

A report was made and the teens were subsequently charged on Wednesday, January 24.

A court date is yet to be finalised.
