25-y-o farmer charged with murder, illegal burial

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A 25-year-old farmer of Frazer’s Content in Spanish Town, St Catherine has been charged with murder and illegal burial.

He is Kamal McDonald and he is charged in connection with the killing of 33-year-old security guard, Kevon Anderson.

The Spanish Town police report that about 1:39 pm on Wednesday, May 8, residents were traversing the Frazer’s Content main road in Spanish Town when they stumbled upon a body in a shallow grave. An investigation was launched and the body was identified as that of Anderson’s. After following several investigative leads, McDonald was implicated and taken into custody. He was subsequently charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and unlawful burial of a body on Thursday, July 11.

McDonald is scheduled to appear in the St Catherine Parish Court on Monday, July 22.
