Toddler dies in St Mary motor vehicle crash

ST MARY, Jamaica— A two-year-old boy died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle crash on the Fort George Road in Annotto Bay, St Mary on Saturday.

Police have identified the toddler as Deshawn Bailey.

According to the lawmen, Deshawn was a passenger in a white Toyota Noah motor vehicle.

The police say the driver was heading in a northerly direction when he failed to keep left.

It is reported that the vehicle climbed an embankment and overturned.

DeShawn was pronounced dead at hospital.
