Ammo found in garbage bag in Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — The Westmoreland Police Division reportedly seized 10 assorted rounds of ammunition during an operation in Tank Hill district, Negril in the parish on Thursday.

Reports are that at about 5:45 pm, lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched. During the search, five 9mm rounds and five 12 gauge rounds of ammunition were found in a garbage bag.

Investigation continues.
