28-y-o charged with attempted rape after allegedly breaking into woman’s home
CLARENDON, Jamaica — A 28-year-old man is facing multiple charges including assault with the intent to rape after breaking into a woman’s home in Clarendon and allegedly forcing himself onto her.
According to reports, the accused, Demark Cole, a construction worker of a Clarendon address, gained access to the woman’s residence via a window about 3:00 am on August 22.
The May Pen police reports state that the woman was awakened by the “feeling of someone removing her shorts.”
She subsequently noticed that Cole, had his underpants in his hand.
The woman reported the incident to her aunt who took her to the police. Cole was pointed out and was subsequently charged.
His court date is being arranged.
