J.R. Blessington releases fourth album
Recording artiste J.R. Blessington is celebrating the release of his 10-track album Black Pain Unfold.
Produced by Cayleb Production, the album was officially released on June 18.
The album is the artiste’s way of spreading positivity through music and features collaborations with artistes such as Carlos Jones, La Nena, Karen Levy, Dayzwhun, and Marisoul.
“I’m a little piece of the puzzle doing my part; everyone has a part to play to make this world peaceful, while giving praise to Jah who is in control,” the artiste told the Jamaica Observer.
Completed in just over a year, the album has been touted as “soul-filling food to feed every nation and humanity”.
Fans have already expressed their love for the lyrical content and rhythms.
Currently based in Cleveland, Ohio, J.R. Blessington stays true to his roots through his music that can be described as spiritual, conscious, joyful, and uplifting.
Black Pain Unfold follows his previous albums Son of the Soil, Hope and Forward Movement, which were released in 2014, 2018 and 2022, respectfully. He also released another single titled Crosscountry on June 21.
J.R. Blessington is currently doing promotions throughout Ohio and will embark on the BHA Africa Tour.
“My purpose and calling are impossible to ignore. My vessel is being used by our Creator to uplift humanity, so I want to continue to spread that through my voice and my messages until it reaches those who truly need it,” the artiste added.
