Father, 3-month-old infant killed in Westmoreland two-vehicle collision

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A father and his three-month-old infant were killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Waterworks roadway in Westmoreland on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old labourer, Ronaldo Kirlew and Dinario Kirlew of Galloway, Logwood, in Whithorn in the parish.

Reports are that about 7:30 am, Curlew was driving a Toyota Mark X motor car along the Waterworks roadway when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a parked Toyota Axio motor car.

The impact resulted in the Mark X becoming airborne and the child being flung from the moving vehicle.

More to come.
