Unbelievable Force redeems herself in thrilling victory
THREE-YEAR-OLD, American-bred, dark bay/brown filly Unbelievable Force after a shocking defeat as the favourite in her last outing, silenced her doubters with a scintillating win on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Talented filly Unbelievable Force cshowed her true mettle, bouncing back from disappointment to triumph with a heart-stopping performance in the $1.19-million Restricted Stakes contest for imported three-year-olds and upward (non-winners of three) and native-bred three-year-olds and four-year-olds (non-winners of four) over five furlongs (1,000m) straight.
With Raddesh Roman in the saddle, the Philip Feanny-conditioned Unbelievable Force burst out of the gates, matching strides with El Rapido (Oneil Mullings), Matuso (Paul Francis), and Bold Move (Omar Walker) in a thrilling opening stretch.
As the field approached the halfway mark Unbelievable Force shifted into high gear, effortlessly pulling away from her rivals as she crossed the dummy rails. With a dazzling display of speed and power she accelerated down the final stretch, crossing the finishing line a staggering 5¼ lengths ahead of the pack.
Stopping the clock at an impressive 59.2 (23.2 x 46.2), Unbelievable Force cemented her status as a good sprinter in the making. Stablemate Riches to Rags (Richard Henry) claimed second while Teflon Don (Tevin Foster) took third.
