Young entrepreneur seeks to improve entertainment options in Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – Fresh from a series of opening events, Truth Ultra Lounge, Westmoreland’s newest entertainment space, is set to up the ante for entertainment options in the parish.
The eclectic rooftop space, located in Savanna-la-Mar atop Howie’s Plaza, brainchild of young entrepreneur Julian McIntosh, is already creating a buzz with its party atmosphere and stylish decor touches, including water features and a mini pool.
“We recently concluded a series of launch events culminating with the Opulence party in late December and for the new year we’re finalising everything to fully open and provide that space for enhancing local entertainment. We’re catering to a more discerning clientele, looking for a luxurious, trendy and highly secured space to enjoy good music and food. This is an upscale event space available for corporate and special events,” McIntosh stated.
“The response has been largely positive, based on the attendees and the media attention generated. The events generated excitement on social media, with influencers, locals, and tourists sharing their experiences. I’m anticipating that this excitement, positive social media engagement, and local economic impact is setting the stage for Truth Ultra Lounge to be a promising addition to the region’s entertainment,” McIntosh added.
McIntosh also spoke about plans for this year including creation of annual events and modifications for the space.
“The launch events were successful and the feedback encouraging especially for the Opulence party. We’ll make that into an annual event and focus on enhancing the guest experience, diversifying offerings, and building on its success. I’m looking at creating a more intimate, exclusive space for VIPs looking for more privacy and personalised service. We’re also planning on working with influencers and highlighting the space as much as possible. This type of space and offering is not the norm for Savanna-la-Mar, but we believe that the clientele is here and economic impact will be good for the parish capital,” McIntosh emphasised.
