Jockey Tevin Foster fined, suspended

The Stewards announced the following disciplinary actions from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC), 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Jockey Tevin Foster, who rode Smart Trick in the seventh race on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 was suspended for two race days and fined $10,000 for intimidation and interference caused to
J Speith leaving the 200-metre point of the race. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Jockey Paul Francis, who rode NoMoreDeals in the fifth race on Saturday, January 4, 2025, was fined $10,000 for the excessive use of the whip.
