The law applies to everyone

Dear Editor,

If there is truth to the press report of a government minister urging colleagues to advise their family members, in violation of the law, to withhold their personal information from the Integrity Commission, he would himself be violating the law.

I would, in that case, call on him to apologise to the country for a gross insult and to immediately resign from office. If he fails to do this, I would demand his removal by the prime minister. Jamaica would not otherwise be a nation ruled by law.
