Overlooked Grooming Zones Men Shouldn’t Ignore

Let’s face it, most men keep their grooming routine pretty simple. A quick shower, maybe a shave, splash of cologne, and they’re out the door. But grooming isn’t just about the obvious, it’s also about the details. And it’s often those missed spots that quietly affect how polished, clean, and confident a man can appear.

Tuesday Style Beauty (TSB), guided by the Sandra Samuels-led team at Totally Male Club Spa and Salon, shares some commonly forgotten grooming areas that deserve attention and how to handle them right.

1. Eyebrows — The Frame of Your Face

Eyebrows are the frame for your face. Too bushy and they distract; overly arched and they can look unnatural. The goal is to groom, not sculpt. Trim long hairs and pluck any strays, especially between the brows. Clean, even brows subtly sharpen your look.

2. Ears — Cleanliness and Sensitivity Matter

Your ears do more than hear, they’re also an erogenous zone and the first thing a person will smell when you greet someone with a hug. That makes them worth keeping clean, inside, outside and behind. Wipe gently inside with a Q-tip (don’t dig deep), and don’t forget to wash behind the ears, where odour and oil tend to build up. Trim any visible hairs around or inside the ears for a tidier look.

3. Underarm Hair — Control the Chaos

This one’s often ignored, but it makes a big difference. Trimming or lightly shaving your underarm hair prevents your deodorant from clumping, reduces bad odour, and keeps you looking clean — especially when wearing sleeveless shirts. You don’t need to go bald — just neat. Trimmers work fine, or opt for waxing if you’re comfortable.

When it comes to smell, less is more. Clean skin, a good deodorant, and a low-scent lotion can do more than heavy cologne ever will.

Great grooming is all in the details. By taking care of these often forgotten areas, your ears, underarms, brows, nose, neck, and nails, you’ll not only look more polished, but you’ll feel more confident too. It’s not about vanity or luxury, it’s about respecting yourself and the people around you.

Looking for a place to take detailed care of your grooming needs, visit Totally Male Club Spa and Salon
