T&T man deported from US attempts re-entry from MexicoMonday, September 12, 2016
UNITED STATES (CMC) – The police in the United States arrested a Trinidad and Tobago man as he attempted to enter the country illegally from Mexico.
The police report that Declan Adrian David, was arrested by border patrol agents last week after he crossed the Rio Grande River.
Police records indicate that David was formally deported from the US in 2011 through Miami, Florida.
He was previously convicted of intent to manufacture or distribute a controlled substance in June 2001 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
David, who is in federal custody, has been charged with illegal re-entry.
